We are still here for you, and can’t wait to see you! In an effort to keep you safe and comfortable, you will notice fewer patients in the office as we do our best to maintain a safe distance. In order to achieve this, we will be asking you to wait in your cars, rather than in our waiting room. You will be called when it is time for you to come in for your exam. We request that you wear a mask, but don’t worry if you don’t have one or forget yours, we will provide you one. Your visit will be thorough but your doctor may choose not to speak to you at the slit lamp or during other parts of the exam so that proper distancing can be performed. A full discussion of your findings will be done after testing is completed. We are offering Telehealth visits for some patients. Let us know if this is something you would like to try. Finally, as always, we are thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing rooms and all surfaces after your visit.
These updated practices may delay our ability to schedule your yearly routine appointment, but we will make sure to see each and every one of you if you are comfortable doing so. We are adding some evening and weekend hours to safely achieve this.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we all adjust to this new normal. We value you and can’t wait to see you again.
